I'm not sure if you'll be able to see any of these! But here is a collage of some of the things we did this past year! I would have liked to get more on it, but it would have been huge! I just found the collage option on our picasa photo thingy and I think I'll do this every year from now on! To recap the past year. Hope you can see a bit of it!

Sissy was queen for a day when we stopped by Burger King on our way to Spokane for Thanksgiving.
Nyla is waving hi in this family picture. Sis was digging those fries and ketchup. Notice the little flyer in the window there. Ya, that was a little ad for Twilight, "New Moon" paraphinalia (not sure how to spell that). I got those little hamburgers and I admit that we chose to go to Burger King all together because they were offering Twilight coupons and collector cards when you got those burgers. Not the greatest burger in the world, but they are kid friendly. :)
Here Sis is giving me a "head butt" as we like to call it. Its so cute when she does it! You just have to be careful when she's still giving head butts and you aren't paying attention! She'll whack ya!
Liz is already holding a crayon and any writing utensil she can get her hands on like an adult! She is also our resident artist. Thank goodness for magic erasers! She is already drawing fulls scale murals on the walls! I've had to take the magic eraser to the hallway walls and doors a few times already. My mom said she started drawing and doing little things like Sis does as well as me, when she was very small. She has the patience and ability to do very small motor skills already. She has taken one of my spools of thread and stuck the writing tip of a pen in the spoke type top of the thread. It would fall out and she'd do it over and over again.
Its funny how different and alike the girls are. Nyla never touched the walls with a crayon or pen. She's just now doing small motor skills. But she has loved her books since she was really little and she picked up on sign language and word reconition very quickly. Sis is just now recognizing signs and is able to point out "nose", "mouth" and "eye". They both started walking at 10 mos! And they both love to climb!
I just love both my girls! Nyla is so independent and funny. Lizzy is so lovey and caring. How fast they grow!

Here's the toddler friendly pinata that I made out a box. It had lots of strings tied in slip knots all around so the kids just pulled the strings out instead of trying to whack it apart. As much fun as that sounds, I really didn't want a bunch of kids swinging anything around in our too small living room.
Here are the kids enjoying their spoils after they filled up their own goody bag from the pinata. Little lunch chip bags work well because they take up space and they are light! They were a big hit! We also blew up 2 bags of balloons and the kids had a blast with those as well! Such cheap entertainment! I love it!
Post party pass out. I guess that drop from her sugar high hit her pretty hard! She's never fallen asleep like this before! It didn't take much until she was completely passed out!
Another close-up of the slumbering birthday girl.

Sis just loved the gifts she got! Notice Nyla in the back ground. She loved them even more! Nyla was all over the signing little purse that Lizzy got from the Hartley kids. Sis was actually trying to hug this little musical duck that she got from G & G Hayden while it was still in the box. She loves all things stuffed!
Here is Lizzy's lady bug cake! It was my first attempt to make a cake in a bowl. It came out really dense, but no one seemed to notice!
Her cake says "Birthday Bug #1" on the side there. Boy were the kids ready for that cake! We ate it all!
As you can see, her first experience with her very own piece of cake was a "smash" hit! I think she may have a bit of a sweet tooth after this!

Here's Sissy chillin' on the couch waiting for her birthday party. This is pre-party prep.

Nyla is learning the different emotions that go with the different facial gestures. The picture just above was supposed to be her happy face. Well, she'll get there soon! She's only 2! She's such a silly goof! She wanted cake so bad she sat there in her chair for quite a while until the quests started coming. Then she got distracted by the balloons and friends that came over and got down.

So here we are for ABC school at Fall City Farms. Our letter for the day was "P" for pumpkin patch! We had so much fun in the squishy, squashy, wet day!

Picture #1 - Nyla and Lizzy are ready to head out in the wagon! The umbrella, although a good idea, didn't want to participate!

Picture #2 - Lizzy is just such a great smiler! This picture turned out sooo cute! She is wearing her bumble bee bows. They are the hot item on my Etsy site right now! How fun!

Picture #3 - Here is the fearless Nyla trying to feed the cow a guard. All the other kids were so scared of the cow, but Nyla became fast friends with it! She just loved the animals! The highlight of the whole animal experience was the goats though. The main farmer guy came out and rang a bell and all the little goats came and trotted up on this little bridge for us. Very exciting.

Picture #4 - I am shocked and I'm sure many of you are too, to see Nyla actually smiling at the camera. See the little girl behind Nyla making a funny face? Ya, that's usually Nyla. Either that or she's backwards or trying to go play. Look at Lizzy! Even she is shocked to see Nyla smiling a very cute smile at the camera!

I just love going and visiting farms. It reminds me of when we lived on a farm and played and played and played outside! From eating the apples in the fall, to lugging water up to the chickens in the winter and playing in a winter wonderland, to melting springs full of gurgling creeks and the unmistakable smell of the lilac bushes in bloom in the summer. I just hope I can help my girls experience the beauty of nature and cherish some of their own memories!

Nyla is seen here in her "on-trend" outfit consisting of a purple fleece coat with pink rose buttons and leopard trim with a matching tam hat. To complete this outfit she is wearing pink floral jammies with froggy slippers while sitting on the elephant.

It is her favorite spot in the whole house not only because its just her size, but because its an elephant. She is obsessed with elephants!
